The growing presence of Ancient History in the digital sphere has transformed how researchers, educators, and communicators engage with the public. The Ancient World Today — Seminar I, held at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), explored the challenges and strategies of public outreach in Ancient Studies from diverse professional perspectives.

Organized by Marc Mendoza and Carlos Heredia (Department of Ancient and Medieval Studies, UAB), the seminar brought together leading voices in historical communication to reflect on the ethical, methodological, and creative dimensions of making Antiquity accessible to contemporary audiences.

The event took place on Thursday, 27 November 2025, in Room B1/-105 at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (UAB), from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
