Call for Papers
The first volume of AI & Antiquity brings together the proceedings of the First International Conference on Innovation and Technology in Ancient History Education, held online on May 7–8, 2025. Building on this foundational issue, the journal now invites contributions for its second volume. From 2026 onward, AI & Antiquity will appear twice a year (February and September).
We welcome submissions from scholars, educators, and researchers who are rethinking how, why, and for whom we teach Antiquity. We are particularly interested in contributions that explore the intersection of digital technologies and innovative pedagogical approaches, while also addressing issues of inclusivity, neurodivergence, and the recovery of historically silenced voices—especially those of women in Ancient Studies.
In addition to research articles, the journal also accepts reviews of scholarly works, digital platforms, or innovative teaching materials that contribute to the dialogue between Ancient Studies and digital pedagogy.
Areas of interest include (but are not limited to):
-
Digital tools and platforms for teaching Ancient Studies
-
